Guardian home program

Thank you for your interest in becoming a guardian home for one of our precious pups! Here's a little bit about how our program works.

When we decide to add a dog to our program, we either keep him/her in our home, or place him/her in a guardian home. He/she is basically your dog, and we only use the females once a year for breeding, except males; we could use them about 3-4 times a year depending on the females in heat. For females, we breed her twice during her heat, then she is with you during pregnancy. One week before her due date, she is picked up/dropped off at our house and remains with us until her puppies are weaned, usually around 6-7 weeks. the guardian family is free to visit her whenever they want, as long as we are available (and we usually are). For males, we have limited outside stud service, so in addition to using him for our program, we will occasionally stud him out; only 3-4 times a year total. Guardians must have a fenced in yard and be within 2 hours of SW Florida. All guardians are compensated $50 per puppy sold, and $50 per every dog a male is bred to. Our application covers most questions, but those are the basic requirements.
